These pants were designed based on the American military workwear of the 1960s, and have undergone several minor changes since their launch in 2006 to reach their current form.
The material is not the standard back satin, but a brushed cotton flannel, perfect for fall and winter. It's pre-washed, so it's soft and fluffy from the first wear, and the fabric feels light and comfortable. The color fades with repeated wear and washing, giving it a vintage feel.
The silhouette is slightly smaller than standard fatigue pants.
