The design is based on the training wear used by the British Army.
The right side is from the 1930s, and the left is from the 1940s. Each piece faithfully reproduces a different design from a different era, boldly joining them in the center of the body to create a unique masterpiece. The two vintage garments used as bases have the same basic design, but the rib structure and size differ depending on the era.
Because each piece has been faithfully reproduced, the sleeve ribs are different sizes and there are steps in the hem ribs. On the right, we have a flat-seam sewing machine, which was used on the original 1930s, to join parts together with as little overlap as possible, while on the left, we have a serger sewing machine from the 1940s.
