This is a design and art studio founded in 2004 by Japanese brothers Satoshi and Kiyofumi Inoue, who were born and raised in Denmark.
Aiming to combine the delicacy and simplicity of Japanese and Nordic cultures, he has created a brand that spans Scandinavia and Asia. It's called "Scandinasian Design."
Focusing on traditional crafts and fair trade, such as African ethnic arts and Peruvian alpaca knitwear, the brand designs and produces in collaboration with local artists and communities each season.
We incorporate Scandinavian Design into rare and wonderful materials from around the world.
"We will change the world through the power of fashion"

The brand's signature item is made from royal alpaca material from Peru, South America, which is rarely distributed around the world.
This item is scheduled to arrive in the fall, and we will let you know once it arrives.
We would like to introduce you to the T-shirts we have available this spring and summer season.
This time, we will be looking at one of their projects , the Tohoku Project.
A collection that embodies traditional Japanese techniques, created in collaboration with factories and workshops in the Tohoku region.

The Tohoku region is known for its extensive manufacturing sector, crafts and the quality of its products.
They have produced some of the highest quality clothing in the world, but many of their manufacturing bases were damaged in the earthquake, and most orders were immediately canceled. This project was started to support small factories that have almost no orders due to the Great East Japan Earthquake.
We use a unique blend of organic cotton and organic hemp fabric to keep you comfortable even during the hot summer months .
All materials used in this project are grown without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides or defoliants, and are all sewn in Tohoku.

The back print design is CHANEL and Julien Colombier's "Pistachio Hana-Bi" in collaboration with Cartier
It's a very dynamic painting, with the flowers in the foreground appearing light and swaying in the wind. The small "sticks" in the background have an interesting design that makes them appear to be moving up or down depending on the viewer.

Choosing The Inoue Brothers Now
Beyond mass production and mass consumption
Who made it, where, and with what feeling?
I believe that The Inoue Brothers can answer these questions head-on.
An essential brand that doesn't let sustainability become a mere trend .
I hope this will reach people who choose their clothes based on their own standards and are not influenced by trends.
